The same as my other fire whoosh sound, but i used a hi-pass eq at the 50hz mark to take out some of the "mud. ". --. This is a quick fire sound i made using qubodup's "swing 25" public domain/cc0 upload on this site. It's a bamboo stick swinging, which i layered and toyed with to get the results here. For those curious, here are the steps. * i took the file into reaper, and slowed the file's playback rate to 31% of the original. * i then duplicated the file three times, for a total of 4 tracks. * track 1 (lowish gas-burner sound):- reverb (drum-room impulse response, a medium-sounding reverb with a slight deadness to it. In free impulse loader reverberate le, stretched impulse to 150% and set attack time to 0. 218s). - eq (-8db bandpass near 200hz, rising back to 0 by the 1k mark. Low-pass applied at 5. 8khz). * track 2 (lowest of sounds, like a bassy gas-burner):- chorus effect. That's it. (specifically acon digital multiply, a free plugin, set to the "romantic" preset). * track 3 (not as low as track 2, but closer to track 2 than 1)- reverb (a large hall impulse response. No adjustments, ie. No increased attack or stretching like for track 1. ). -chorus doubler (free plugin duet, preset: "basic doubler. " same effect as if i had doubled the track and pitched one up 6 cents. ). - chorus (free plugin acon digital multiply, preset: "romantic. "). * track 4 (most flame-thrower, whooshy of tracks. )- reverb (impulse response says "hall medium," but it's a thick, even echo from start to finish. Makes the sound go from its default "whoosh" to a flamethrower noise. - chorus doubler (duet again, preset: basic doubler). - chorus (acon digital multiply, preset: "romantic. "). Master bus:. - compressor (tdr kotelnikov mastering compressor, the free successor to the tdr feedback compressor ii. Preset: punchy. Thresh: -20. 9, soft knee: -1. 5, ratio: 2:0:1, attack: 7. 0 ms, release peak: 165 ms, release rms: 165 ms, makeup: 1. 5 db, output: 2. 0 db. That's it.

A comical sound effect for when a player is knocked out or loses in a game. It's pretty short, and has a high pitch. Hope you have fun with it!. Thanks for checking this out, and be sure to listen to some more of my free sound effects!. P. S. I request that all my sound effects only be used for clean, appropriate media and projects. Thanks!.

I made this little snippet in the free & open source music making application lmms. What does this suit for? i could only imagine. . . Everything from a dimension travel to someone hitting their head and tripping out into another world. It would be very fun if you left a comment on how you used this, i would be interested to hear. Given the cc0 license, you don't have to credit me of course, it is in the public domain after all, but i wouldn't exactly come complaining if you did!.

My bathroom fan is humming while operating. As you might hear, the fan is full of dust and dirt, so it does this "unround" noisy humming. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. Note: feel free to use this sound in one of your own projects. If you want to, you also can send me a link. I would love to hear some of my field recording into someone’s work.

The sound is coming from the fans of a server. By pulling out one of the fans, all other fans turn up to 100%. The microphone is located above the air duct exactly in the middle of the case and thus between two fan fronts. The soundfile starts with the fans on standard speed. After a few seconds the fans turn up to 100%. I left them there for a few seconds and then quietly plugged the removed fan back in. This fan now also switches to 100% - this is the single, delayed "speed up" that can be heard from second 35. About 10 seconds later, all fans return to normal speed. Unfortunately, a colleague came in at that time and ended up talking into the recording. Due to lack of time, i was unfortunately unable to repeat the audio that day, but will certainly do another re-recording in the future. Feel free to use the sound; no attribution required. Feel free to write me in the comments what you used the sound for. Equipment:røde lavalier microphonesound devices mixpre-3 ii. File:wavmono96 khz32-bit float.

This sound sample is part of the free collective soundbank "negative mass", which is comprised of around 60 royalty free samples and field recordings used by some of the artists featured in the "new chronologies of sound" collection to compose their sound works. "new chronologies of sound" is a sound art collection that proposes to generate debate on issues related to the ways in which lockdown affected our ways of listening, perception of time and work habits, by developing a collection of sound works based on field recordings, which reflect upon those matters. This artistic research project gathers artists and researchers from all over the globe — agf (de), budhaditya chattopadhyay (in), bj nilsen (se), diana combo (pt), gustavo costa (pt), hugo branco (pt), kyoka (jp), laura romero (es), lawrence english (es), matthew herbert (uk), miguel isaza (co) and natalia valencia zuluaga (co)— encompassing a broad diversity of aesthetics, geographies, processual latitudes and conceptual attitudes, which range from pure field recordings and processed soundscapes down to more musical or compositional uses of found sounds. + info: https://lifeisavicnic. This is a recording of a metal desk creaking with very little movement. I recorded this sound, amplified it, and removed the white noise. That's the only processing this sound has gone through. I'm sure this sound can be modified in many different ways and put to countless uses. Be sure to check out the variations of this sounds from the "creaking metal pack". Recorded with: shure sm57 dynamic microphone. Processed with: audacity. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------please leave feedback by commenting below. I'd love to hear your thoughts about this sound and what you used it for. If you published your finished compilation to the web go ahead and include a link. A short exciting tune i made in garageband for something called victors crypt!. I feel that the music has the emotion of delusion. Like you don't really know what's real and what's not. I recorded this from a balcony (5th floor) in the middle of a summer day (end of july), using a mid/side set (mkh30 + c480 b-uls/ck62-df omni) into sound devices mixpre3. Not any processing has been added, except a plain m/s to x/y stereo conversion and low-cut filter (30hz). This is a generally quiet atmo, sometimes light wind comes in, some seagulls and other birds are there at times, some construction work happens etc. The traffic noise is present, but in the distant way. Feel free to use it in any of your productions. Not for resale.

Welcome to rome. We needed some drum cadences for julius caesar and i was unable to find any i really liked so we grabbed our orchestra drummer here at the theater and we came up with 13 different cadences for us including jfk's funeral march. Most are done on snare and then again on a single tom, easily looped for duration. They have no verb on them so you can add as you desire for your space. You are free to use these samples in any project you are working on. Just say hi here and let me know what you're up to. I like to know it's helping a fellow sound designer out. Enjoy and support freesound by uploading your own creations as you make them. Kiddpark.

This is a recording of purchasing items at a checkout in a supermarket, including ambient sounds. There is one line of the slovak language spoken by the cashier, but there is plenty of space to remove it or add your own voices to the clip. While trying to get my microphone to work, it was having this unusual feed back buzzing pulsing sounds. Along with a strange noise. (this wasn't my voice, and the file hasn't been edited. ). "who's there?" and the "hello's" are of course me, trying to get the microphone to work. I decided to record it after i felt it was strange. I got a weird story for this one! i took a machine sound from my grandpa's workshop, overloaded it with flanger so it didn't even sound like a machine anymore, got a little snippet of the sound, pitch shifted it up, and repeated it, eqed it, and added some reverb. (the machine didn't have anything do do with it btw. You can do this with any sound. ) hope you guys enjoy this sound. Feel free to use this anywhere you want. :).

Soundscape of an enfolding air raid on a doomed city, period around world war ii, from some distance from the city itself. In the onset, the listener stands on a windy heath, and hears the air-raid sirens in the distance. Then come the bombers (propeller planes!), supposedly lancasters or so, passing overhead toward their target. . . I did this for a tv documentary, however i kept all rights and, as usual, you may use it free of charge and attribution. Enjoy.

The "concrete cello" pack is a collection of scraping, scratchy and droning improvisations on the cello focussing on the creation of sounds to be used as base materials for future compositions. They were originally recorded in 2019 to be used in as sound design elements for the documentary "hotel regina" by director matthias berger for which i composed the music. Part of the impetus of this sampling session was to create cello sounds that would be remiscent of construction machines. (if you look on the geotag you can see the machines, well, sort of). You can listen to the score here :https://doubleblindrec. Bandcamp. Com/album/regina-hotel. These are the close-micced mono raw studio recordings. Neumann u87 into a wa273 and a rme ufx. Recorded by barbara samla at studio aktis in france. Sounds are cco, use them as you will!(but feel free to let me know in what : it's always nice to find out!).

boo (i got you good) is made in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. I'm currently in a beat 'n bass-mode it appears. Made this drums on a vintage-sounding drum-machine and added some sampled drums for a more vital sounding beat. Wanted a cocky big bass-line and some spooky music box stuff, sci-fi synth and more. It's space and horror meeting groove i guess. Could be perfect for an intro, outro, something spooky and cool, mysterious or whatever you feel like. . . . Let the imagination run wild. This is a small jam i recorded myself on my diy spring reverb circuit i've built for a friend. It sounds really good with music. In this session, i've only used coninuous triangle/sine/square waveforms and jammed on my for pots: input gain,hp filter cutoff, feedback amount, output gain. I'm sorry if the recording clips sometimes, but there's a big dynamic so i couldnt see how much loud it was. Feel free to take it and use it for sampling or sound design layering.

The 4 channels are recorded in irt-cross technique (microphone distance 25cm) so it is a 360° record. Http://irt-cross. Mozello. Deat the end of the track the rain moves to the front channels. (fade is starting at 1:20 min and is finished at 1:41min)my other track can be used for "intro" followed by this track. See/hear here for the intro option:https://freesound. Org/people/bluedelta/sounds/446753/. The spatial impression is best if headphones are used. Ch1 = flch2 = frch3 = rlch4 = rr. The download-file is a polywav. If you need to split the file (e. G. To make a stereo file), you can use the easy to use"wave agent beta"(free)from sound devices for example. ;-)_________________________________________________________used recording gear:zoom f84 x rode nt1 (without "a" = the black ones).

An attempt to fill a request for the sound of rummaging through a wooden chest (trunk) filled with wooden toys. . . This features various latch/locks being used for opening/closing. Gear: zoom h6, xyh-6 x/y capsule (120 degree stereo image), rycote windjammer, mounted on a tripod, late 1800s wooden trunk. Please feel free to leave feedback and ratings. I would love to hear how you put the sound to work.
